As a first time yoga student, I was not sure what to expect when I took my first class with Susan. Susan made being a new student incredibly easy! She walked me through each and every step and when I was in the wrong position she would kindly and quietly come over and readjust me, so as to make sure I was doing it right, but also not to cause disturbance to the rest of the class. In her readjustment's she would explain how each position benefits the body, which I found very helpful. Since starting yoga with Susan, I moved to Chicago and have taken numerous yoga classes with various instructors. To date, Susan is my absolute favorite instructor! I really felt like I got the most out of her classes, and was truly able to enjoy the yoga experience while becoming aware of my mind and body. As I got into the flow and motions of yoga, her class became the thing I looked forward to most in my week! She is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend her to ALL yoga students!

After you experience a private session with Abby, you will never also consider a group lesson or even a private lesson from a less qualified and talented Yogi. Emily is such a caring and professional yoga instructor. I'm in her Saturday morning class, and one thing that I love is that she always asks the class if there's anything in particular that they want to work on. She is really good about monitoring body positioning, and making suggestions for more effective poses. She's also really good at reading the students and suggesting appropriate modifications for a more meaningful practice. The classes are well thought out, and they flow really well. Above all else, Emily is exceptional at fostering a safe space to practice yoga the way that your body will let you.

Chrissie has been my yoga instructor since November 2014. Before I went to her class, I was a complete novice. Chrissie, both kind and patient, has helped me establish a strong base and continues to challenge me to improve and strengthen my practice. She's a terrific teacher and I would recommend her to anyone.

Lauren is warm, engaging, and an accomplished professional able to work with all levels of ability. As an instructor she is easy to follow and always offers a satisfying combination of poses. Her voice envelops the room, creating calm energy; her out breath always makes me relax and become more present. Of the 8-10 yoga teachers I have had, Lauren is definitely my favorite.

Every class and workshop that I've been in with Emily has been a beautiful, positive, and beneficial experience for me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She has comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic and energizing yoga sequences as well as meditation and art therapy techniques.
