I first begin working with John on 2/21/14. At the time I was in my opinion very overweight, lacked confidence, and quite frankly lost. When I met John for an initial introduction/evaluation, he was a wealth of invaluable information and contagious enthusiasm. I personally work out with John twice a week (M,W) and although the workouts are intense, they are not as excruciating as they once were, and have become addicting. I also wish to point out that I also keep a very meticulous food journal and workout Sun, Tues and Thurs on my own. With John we primarily focus on weight/strength training, whereas when I'm not there, I do intense cardio. I have lost over 30 pounds, and gained some muscle and definition. Next Wednesday I will be celebrating my 37th. birthday. I just came back from visiting friends in Michigan, and they were shocked by how much I lost and my overall build. Going clothes shopping has become an enjoyable experience! I personally want to lose another 20 pounds as a personal goal, but my co-workers think that would be overkill. I came to Ken's Total Fitness and was not disappointed. I have lost weight and toned up tremendously and he showed me a range of exercises that vastly helped. Every workout kicked my butt, kept me on my toes and did different exercise every time, session with him never gets boring. More importantly, I was able to take the lessons I learned from Ken and carry them into my own training. At about $55/session, if you are serious, the money will be well spent.

I hired Joel for personal training/cardio kickboxing and have been working out with him 4 times a week, for about a month now and I can honestly say I am beyond satisfied. He is constantly changing up my workout for my physical needs, always pushes me and motivates me to where I need to be in my workout, and always flexible with my schedule. The workouts are fun and very different from being in a gym with a trainer. If you are looking for someone in the Cleveland area he is defiantly the one to go to.. Never been more happy with a trainer or myself.
