- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I follow trade articles and study trends in various markets. Eaters in Oklahoma enjoy a wide variety of cusines. Fortunately We cover most all of those. We are always teaching other to cook and keeping them and myself updated through reading trade magazines Internet surveys and manufacturers Web sites that offer new and or info on products and their uses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I hate bad food. Love making people happy. Love hearing people say this is amazing or wonderful. Hear that a lot. Just a strong desire to educate people on the art of cooking. Its amazing how many have no clue how to cook. Selection, seasoning, cooking methods make cooking so much more enjoyable when you know you are going to achieve good results and make friends and family happy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Private gatherings at various venues. Group gatherings for churches. Oklahoma Outdoor Expo held every year in Sept. at the Lazy E Ranch. Stockyards Stampede at Stockyards City in Oklahoma City. (Wagon Boss over 6 plus or even more wagons, Dutch Oven groups) Charley Adams Day in New Kirk Oklahoma for the last 11 years. Cooking Demonstrations and monthly cooking classes for various Out door Sporting Stores like Sportsman's Warehouse, Demonstrations at the Oklahoma Railroad Museum and a list of many others to includes hundreds of outdoor cooking events held at my home over many years.
