About this pro
I provide massage therapy to those looking for relaxation, those who have chronic illnesses such as cancer, fibromyalgia, heart disease, diabetes and arthritis as well as for those with mental and physical disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, anxiety or depressive disorder and PTSD. My goal with each client is to treat each as an individual. I am able to do this by providing a variety of massage modalities, listening to the specific needs of each client and tracking progress or making changes as needed.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In addition to the required continuing education each year I seek continuing education to stay current with the best modalities I have found serve my clients the best.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I began my college education in Nursing School with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse. During my time in school I began working with individuals with disabilities and Alzheimer's patients. After losing two clients I realized that I may not be cut out to deal with losing children. Over the years I used Massage Therapy as part of rehabilitation from injuries so I became very familiar with the benefits. After changing my career path twice I decided I wanted to get back to the medical field, a field that would allow me to care for others and help make their quality of life better. This desire led me to Massage Therapy school. My mentor calls me a natural and I agree with him as well as clients that I have worked with since I received my license 9 years ago. I am reminded daily of my desire to help others and excited by seeing the benefits of massage helping each person I am fortunate enough to meet.
