FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Design consultations include a meet-and-greet session, an initial site visit, and a discussion to understand the scope of the project. This is a focused working session designed to help clarify your goals, assess the space, and determine the best next steps for your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The design fee is structured as a one-time charge based on the estimated hours needed to complete the design. This fee covers an onsite measurement, a design intent floor plan with a proposed furniture presentation, a detailed furniture budget, and up to two revisions, which require mutual approval by both the designer and the client. If 3D renderings of the space layout are desired, these can be provided upon request but are not included in the initial fee. Any additional revisions beyond the two included will incur an extra charge. Furniture may be purchased through the designer, and project management services are billed separately on an hourly basis.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus in Advertising. My background combines creative design thinking with strong communication and client-focused problem-solving. My experience includes residential, commercial, K–12 education, senior living, and light commercial design projects through both design firms in the Atlanta area and independent residential work of my own. This has given me hands-on experience in space planning, material selection, client collaboration, and creating thoughtful, functional spaces tailored to each client’s lifestyle and needs. I’m currently working toward my NCIDQ certification and continue to stay connected to the design industry as I grow my business here in Tulsa. I believe great design should feel approachable, personal, and accessible — creating spaces that not only look beautiful, but genuinely improve how people live, work, and connect.
