- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $35/hour or $120/monthly which includes 4 hour long lessons. If i have any scheduling conflicts and we can't find another time that week that works, I will refund your payment for that week. I usually have no conflicts that won't be previously discussed when you make the monthly payment. If you have any questions about payment please don't hesitate to ask me about it!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically start out with asking the student (or students guardian) what they hope to accomplish while taking lessons with me. I like to know how serious this is to the student and if they are working towards any sort of auditions or performances. I will then discuss posture and breathing and the importance of both when it comes to singing. We will do some breathing exercises and even start with some things such as matching pitch and simple vocal scales. We will do these things for a couple weeks so that I can evaluate where you are and then we will pick a song to start working on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in vocal performance from ACM@UCO as well as having been vocally trained most of my life.
