- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most insurance plans accepted. Day of service cash/card rates are: $105 new visit (1.5 hour session). $85 follow up (60 min session). Sliding scale rates $45-$85 available for those with financial needs. Member of Returning Veterans Program which provides bro-bono health care for post 9/11 veterans).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Intake form and talking about what is ailing you, then we start the treatment. It may consist of a front/back combo Acupuncture treatment, cupping, far infrared heat lamp, tuina massage, Qi gong energy work, or lifestyle and nutritional counseling. Patients often fall asleep during the treatment. A general session is around one hour. Wear comfy, loose-fitting clothing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Four years of pre-med in NYC, three years of Chinese Medicine school in Hawaii, countless hours of continuing education and workshops, a lifetime of Qi Gong work (well, 29 years and counting), and most importantly- my session with you. Every single patient is different so my treatment depends on what you're dealing with.
