Introduction: The greatest compliment I receive is when a guest comes up to me at the end of a ceremony, and asks me how long I’ve known them. Then they’re shocked when I tell them I’ve only known the happy couple for a few months. That’s when I’ve done my job right. One thing that allows me to stand out above the rest is attention to detail. When I work with a couple, I have them get to know me, and I take the time to get to know them. That way, their ceremony doesn’t just have a feeling of someone reading off a script. Their ceremony is all about them, and their story as a couple. I am careful to make sure every aspect of the wedding ceremony is exactly what the bride & groom want. This is why I say: “Ceremonies as unique as you.” I’m looking for couples who want to create a truly authentic ceremony. One they’ll be well-pleased with and their guests will absolutely enjoy. I love helping two people achieve their dream of marrying their soulmate. Being involved in such a wonderful event is a complete honor to me. No matter how many ceremonies I do, every one of them means something to me. I understand that couples have a variety of choices, and when they choose me... wow!

When we first met with Ernie, he was a good vibe. Very welcoming, so patient and kind. My husband and I felt comfortable sharing our story and just having a conversation with him about our wedding. From the day that my partner and I first sat down and talked with Earnie for him to get to know us and for us to get to know him, he has been so nice, and very helpful throughout the whole process. He was always available for questions, and was very easy to talk to. The day of the wedding, he arrived early and went over everything with both my wife and I. The ceremony was perfect and he did awesome. After everything was said and done, he even took care of dropping off the marriage certificate. In all, we would highly recommend Earnie as a wedding officiant!

I found EC on Thumbtack and forward his info to my sister as a possible officiant for my her wedding. They chose him out of four other officiant options I provided to her. Per Thumbtack I was only able to choose 3 things I like about EC for the keywords of this review, but I wanted to select all 5: great quality of work, very professional, super punctual, amazing value, extra responsive. We were blown away with how much EC offered in his ceremony package. He did all the things my sister and her fiancée needed by bringing together a ceremony that was eloquent and ideally represented the couple. The length was perfect and really spoke to the individuality of my sister and her fiancée. All the guests were impressed.

We found Ernie during our search for an officient for our wedding. We quickly felt very comfortable and welcomed while talking with Ernie. We had a face to face meeting so he could get to know our relationship and how we got to the point of marriage. We felt he truly brought all our information and so much more to life and really did an amazing job during our ceremony! Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I loved doing my boss' ceremony. Her & her fiancé had an issue with a wedding officiant & were in a jam. She sought me out at my work & asked me if I could help (wedding was in less than 2 weeks). I took them both out for coffee, made sure everything they wanted in their ceremony & then told them to relax, I would take care of them. We had such a blast & they were grateful it worked out the way it did. I made that part of the wedding planning easy for them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you have the ceremony you want. After all, it's your memory you're creating. Too many times I've seen people settle for less or do the ceremony somebody else forces on them. Make sure your officiant asks lots of questions.
