The greatest compliment I receive is when a guest comes up to me at the end of a ceremony, and asks me how long I’ve known them. Then they’re shocked when I tell them I’ve only known the happy couple for a few months. That’s when I’ve done my job right.
One thing that allows me to stand out above the rest is attention to detail. When I work with a couple, I have them get to know me, and I take the time to get to know them. That way, their ceremony doesn’t just have a feeling of someone reading off a script. Their ceremony is all about them, and their story as a couple. I am careful to make sure every aspect of the wedding ceremony is exactly what the bride & groom want. This is why I say: “Ceremonies as unique as you.”

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I loved doing my boss' ceremony. Her & her fiancé had an issue with a wedding officiant & were in a jam. She sought me out at my work & asked me if I could help (wedding was in less than 2 weeks). I took them both out for coffee, made sure everything they wanted in their ceremony & then told them to relax, I would take care of them. We had such a blast & they were grateful it worked out the way it did. I made that part of the wedding planning easy for them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you have the ceremony you want. After all, it's your memory you're creating. Too many times I've seen people settle for less or do the ceremony somebody else forces on them. Make sure your officiant asks lots of questions.
