Grace Roofing did a fabulous job on my very complicated craftsman style house. They used a thicker style material that was quite difficult to install with the many difficult angles and multiple rooflines. The work was done in a timely fashion, there cost was competitive, they kept a relatively clean work site, they respected the landscaping, and they responded to my request for a minor (after the fact) revision with 'grace' (upgraded vents). When the custom gutters were installed this past month, those professionals complimented the work of the roofer. I had one person knock on the door to ask who did the roofing as they wanted "the exact same thing". Beautiful. Ask them for photos!
Looking for someone who's honest, down to earth, shows up on time, and doesn't increase his bid based on your zip code or neighborhood? Call Ken! I hired Ken to help me install a ceiling in my garage and had a pleasure working with him. In fact, i've hired him on to do more around the house. Great guy to deal with.
Jeff was flexible and worked with our schedule. He did an excellent job painting our house and refinishing our decks. We definitely would hire his services again and recommend him for other similar projects. - Dan
John millers work is impressive. He is a real artist and craftsman. He is responsible, honest and trustworthy. The granite and tile he did in our kitchen is fantastic. We totally recommend him for any and all stone work.
Sheldon will come at the end of November as I am still waiting for parts to arrive for the project. He texted me almost immediately and our rapport is good!
This post is strange because it says roofing and construction... I had Cayla and Paige come out and deep clean my entire house. They did an exceptional job! They did everything I asked and more, including shampoo carpets, cleaned inside and outside Windows, walls, and everything else. They are professional, trust worthy and VERY affordable for having two people clean. I would highly recommend these gals and will use them again for sure!
We had a HUGE job -- new construction and 3/4 of the house taken down to studs. We are out at the beginning of the Gorge and traveling here was not a big deal for him. Our project took a long time, but Dan was never-wavering and consistent in his constant shepherding. Above and beyond only begins to describe Dan. Dan takes the time to get to know you, how you live and what your space could look like for you. He is daring, but structurally diligent and sound. He is cutting edge on sustainability and eco-efficient houses. His designs have grace, beauty, simplicity, and strength. See his website, but trust me: Dan is the best advocate and dreammaker you could hope for if you are going to remodel. One of (the many) things I love about Dan is how he loves projects big and small. It is the people he bases his choices on for who he works for. If he likes you and what you are all about, he will take you on. Don't be put off with that -- it just means he will take your project PERSONALLY because he cares about YOU. (Renz, the Jack Terrior, will probably have to like you too. He goes everywhere with Dan.) And if you can let go and let Dan, he will exceed all the smart ideas you thought you had for your space. I thought I knew all the solutions and neat things for our project. HA! Never in my wildest dreams could I have thought up what he did. One more thing: listen when he tells you who the good construction companies are in Portland.
Hank had a tough job. To finish an upstairs only accessible by a pull down ladder. His sub contractors did a great job. The sheet rock was taped and finished nicely. Finish woodwork was great. Hank was well organized throughout the project.
I was very happy with DND Construction. They were done in a timely fashion and every thing they took out was hauled off.
