I met Josh and some of his crew the summer of 2012 when I did some research on one of the "Lists" looking for a company to rebuild my rapidly deteriorating deck. I had personal contact with 3 contractors and right away both my wife and I liked Josh's attitude, his experience and his ability to dedicate a few people to get started on our new deck. They did a fantastic job in record time and we were more than happy with the entire project. Our family and friends wanted the name of the company that did the job and of course we gave them Josh's name and phone number. Josh made our deck out of Ipe wood from Brazil (spelled Ipe and pronounced “ee-pay”), and this hardwood will outlast the entire house because its density and hardness. We have had Josh come back 2 times over the years to refinish the deck and it appears as if it was brand new every time he puts the finish on it. Based on his expertise, his willingness to make his crew available anytime we need them and just the over all experience with NW Outdoor Living has made Josh one of our "go-to guys" when we need woodwork or reconstruction work done. I strongly recommend him and his company for any construction work. P.S. I could take some photos and email them to anyone who might be interested.

Josh and Steve rebuilt our rowhouse deck after dryrot was detected on the original structure. They promised to have the work done by the end of May and lived upto the agreement. Quality and workmanship was top notch. Price was fair and competitive

NW Outdoor Living & Renovation did a fantastic job building a new deck! The job was completed before the proposed date, and they cleaned up the site like they were never there. Will definitely hire again.
