Overall I was satisfied. It wasn't craftsmanship but then again he didn't charge me for craftmanship. The price was fair and he did what he said he was going to do. A basic door and handrail. I would use him again.
Glenn installed an exterior door for me and he went the extra mile to exchange the incorrect door that I had purchased so that he could finish the job that day. Install is great and I'm very pleased with the results. I would hire him again!
I was a bit incorrect on what I needed and he was willing to do it anyway. Did a good job same day, offered to come back and do another difficult door. On time, polite, good work.
Overall good - the drywall is fixed and Eliseo even helped me fix a door that wasn't closing well during some drying downtime! The door now closes beautifully. The drywall definitely looks better than when he started, as there was water damage, and of course, an opening in the ceiling. Now it is all textured and no water damage, no hole. The only reason I gave 4 stars was there is a little indentation where the patch piece of sheetrock was installed. I was a little surprised to see this since it looked really smooth while he was applying all the mud and texturing. We let it dry for the two days but the small indentation is still there. Nonetheless, you can really only see it well when the light is turned on and I think it will be further minimized after painting. I know the patch is very secure since he added a lot of reinforcement around it. It definitely should not be pulling out or sagging anytime soon. I would say for the price and the effort he gave to come out initially and give me a firm price before starting, you could definitely give him a try and see what you think. I haven't had anyone patch drywall before so don't have much to compare to, but it seemed like a pretty decent job.
Corey is excellent. He went above and beyond in repairing my front door lock, and was easy to talk with. Corey got back to me quickly with answers to whatever questions I had. I have already referred him to a few friends, and I'll definitely be calling him again! Thanks Corey!
Great customer service overall. Very honest and helped us get the job down to our goal price. We found a small dent in my garage door, no way to tell how it happened, but Johnny took responsibility and contacted repair company. Will use them as my go to contractor going forward!
What a great experience! We are so happy with our new shower door. I contacted Keenie and he was out and installing the new shower door the next day. And he provided the door! Great value and workmanship.
I had a great experience working with Daniel. He laid laminate flooring in three rooms and covered a set of my stairs in laminate too. Bidding and Planning: Daniel was thoughtful, responsive, and patient through the planning and decisioning process. He worked hard to understand my needs and budget and made excellent suggestions on products I should consider. Scheduling and Working: Daniel gave me options and worked to fit my job into his work schedule. Overall, he was very timely. Once when Daniel was running late, he texted to tell me. I felt very comfortable with Daniel in my home. He kept careful track of accounting for materials and handled my money with care. Daniel was thorough in his work. He carefully removed baseboard molding, removed carpet, hauled carpet away, purchased sub-flooring, installed sub-flooring, installed laminate flooring, reinstalled baseboards, re-caulked baseboards (they looked perfect), covered my stairs with laminate, and installed a metal nose on my stairs. Finishing the Job: Daniel cleaned up after himself along the way. He also cleaned thoroughly when the job was complete. I was very impressed with Daniel's commitment to making things right. An example of this was my hinged closet-style door. The door was carefully removed before work began. The last task Daniel completed was reinstalling that tough door. Because the flooring underneath the door had changed in both style and height, the door needed to be readjusted. Daniel made the necessary adjustments, but the old door with its aging tracks and hardware were stubborn. It would have been easy for Daniel to shortcut that door reinstallation, but he stayed longer that he expected to make sure the door worked well. That door works better for me now than it ever has. I rate Daniel as both excellent work-quality and an excellent overall value. I will likely have him install new countertops for me soon.
Had sliding a sliding door installed in my garage. Danny's quote was a tad higher than some others but he had better reviews and now I see why. He kept in contact about any possible delays and showed up on the scheduled day and time as expected. He and his partner dos a great job installing the door in just a few hours. Highly recommended and will definitely give him a call again when needing Windows or doors installed.
Wow!! PDX premium cleaning service is incredible. I bought a house and unfortunately the sellers left the kitchen and bathrooms... well, very lived in. I was concerned I would have to get new appliances sooner than I thought as well as paint the cabinets. Well, Maria came for 6 hours yesterday and after she was done it looked like a new house! I am so happy with the price and service from this company!
Brien gave an estimate to install a front door to house. Brien communicated very effectively of what the cost could be based on what I had told him. He come out the next morning to see the door in person to give a more accurate estimated and time needed. We gave him the go ahead to do the job. He stayed and did the job right away and was done within the time limit he had estimated. Very knowledgeable with the work that was needed. I would recommend Brien again for any project/job that is needed. We had no issues of any kind. Jason
Painted 25 doors and garage walls and floor. Did a great job with great attitude. Great attention to detail and finished product.
The job was more complicated than expected, but completed very well. My door and wall look like new.
I needed to have the chain on my chandlier lengthened and got an immediate response from Emmanuel. Great price to do this as well. We arranged a time that he could over to do this, and in the meantime I discovered that my toilet was leaking around the base and I also need to have a shower curtain rod installed. Again, Emmanuel responded back to me within 10 minutes to let me know he could take care of these additional tasks. He arrived on time, and immediately got to work on lengthening the chain on my chandlier. He diagnosed the cause of the leak in my toilet quickly. We ended up having to remove it from the floor and he was nice enough to run over to Home Depot to get the part and he re-installed and caulked within 30 minutes time. After I had paid him, I was telling him about some other things that needed to be done next time, in particular, I had a door that would not stay shut. When I showed him the door, he took one look and said he could fix it right now. He cut into the area where the door's strike plate is , screwed in the strike plate, and , done. Door shut perfectly. Emmanuel knows what he is doing , is able to diagnose problems quickly, and come up with the solution. He is quick, but does quality work. I feel confident in recommending his services, and will definitely be calling upon him again.
I had the aluminum siding and all trim and doors of my house repainted. Ismael was very prompt, courteous and professional in all of our communications. Other painting companies couldn't get to my project for several months. Ismael was able to complete my project in just weeks. His crew were hardworking, professional and helpful. I am very happy with how my house looks.
Miguel Hernandez has done a tremendous amount of work for Lents Baptist Church. We still own the parsonage in the expectation that we would someday use it for church activities. The day has not come. In the interim we rent the house out. The house is a four bedroom two bath house. The last renter caused a lot of damage to the house. Miguel was right there to take on the responsibility and work of repairing the house. He washed all the walls, ceilings and floors. He repaired holes in the walls. Then he primed the walls and ceilings. Then he painted them. The floors in the main living areas are hardwood and he sanded, stained and sealed the floors. He laid tile in the bathrooms, kitchen and dining room. He replaced all the interior doors and the front door. New trim was installed between the walls and floor. We had water damage in the entry way to the church. Miguel repaired the walls and then painted the area. All his work was very good.
Victor and his team did a great job turning a window into a patio door for me! He was always in communication and completed the project quickly. I’m giving 5 stars for his great service & value.
We had a 6 foot cedar fence put in, including one 3 foot gate and one 6 foot gate. Don was very professional, a hard worker, and kept me in the loop as far as how the project was going and when he would have it finished. Would hire again.
I had a MDF kitchen sink door that needed replacing which had to exactly (or nearly so) match the OTHER ONE from the size to the stain itself. In order to reduce the price a bit I had to find the proper handles at a nearby hardware store, ones that would match the other kitchen cabinet handles in the entirety of the room (I ended up choosing ones that closely enough matched the others) and I had my new cabinet door just a week's time. At first I was unable to tell the difference between the two doors (the one he had to match and the one Ed made from scratch) and a carpenter who is building a house next to me was also unable to tell the difference. While I had no prior experience in having this type of project done I was a little surprised at the price of $300, but subsequent research found that this price was/is in the mid-range for this kind of project. I would highly recommend Ed to anyone who needs a smaller project done. Most if not all of the larger cabinet companies either were not interested or said I would have to wait at least a month for completion.
I needed a new sliding glass door which was complicated by the fact there was wood rot around the door. After picking out a door at Lowes they said the couldnt do it re the wood rot. Max found a comparable door with a competitive price. After removing the current door he was able to repair the wood rot and install the new door which I'm thrilled with.
We hired John to build cabinets for a complete custom kitchen remodel project and two custom bathrooms. The cabinets are all solid plywood and finished in a beautiful figured walnut. John’s attention to detail is nothing short of stellar! He matched the grain patterns from the top cabinets to the bottom cabinets and all the trim was perfectly cut and installed. Our project was quite extensive and because of the very fine quality of work we even had John finish five custom solid core doors for us. From the doors, to the custom freestanding oven hood, it’s all top quality work! Needless to say, I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in artisan quality work! John is a true craftsman.
