Well, let me give you some free advice. If you want to hire a contractor that communicates, look for another company. This job is pretty straightforward. Beautiful $75,000 master bathroom remodeled 4 years ago. Unfortunately, a pipe broke and ruined the bathroom. The insurance company allows me to choose my contractor. I’ve used Thumbtack a ton and not often this happens. Had a appointment scheduled for 10/7, had to reschedule for 10/8. Rescheduled it for 10 AM. Needed to be done between nine and 10 as I had my daughter‘s volleyball game to go to but allowed 10 am to work as this worked for the contractor. So very simple, things happen in life I get it. Send a simple text saying you’re going to be late or you need to reschedule again, for the second time. Don’t just do nothing. Extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. My time is worth the same as yours. I run a company and I would NEVER fail to communicate. It’s the easiest thing to do. This is the reason the companies fail. They lose easy jobs with a good person because they fail to communicate.
