25$ for a 1.5 hour session 35$ for a 3 hour session Plus materials fee 0-20$ depending on what you want to make
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a person is new to art I start by focusing on formal concerns. Drawing fundamentals and basic representational painting techniques are a good jumping off point. If you are already painting I hope you will bring whatever you are working on, along with whatever artistic aspirations you have. I would like to help you find your own voice and interests. We can experiment with different materials and techniques. There is an amazingly rich history in art and we will study other artists practices as a supplement to your personal expression.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Painting from San Francisco Art Institute and have been practicing art for over 12 years. I have several years teaching experience and talk and think about art all of the time.
