FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $100.00 per hour for consultations. After that, I charge half my hourly rate, or $50.00 an hour, for administrative fees for resourcing/searching for products, emails, field trips, etc. I am very flexible and can work within your budget or even come up with a flat fee instead of hourly, whichever works best for you and your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do a little back and forth, either through a phone call or email, then I hone in on the scope of the project by way of the vision they have, their style preferences, budget and ultimate goals. I also have a very good track record of keeping within their budget -- often times below -- and I assure them that this will be money well spent. We then meet in person and get the project underway!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Heritage School of Interior Design and am certified in custom interior design. I have attended seminars on what's new in color, a business management seminar specifically tailored for interior design, a rug seminar presented by a locally owned rug company, a "what's new" in tile seminar, a meeting at an art gallery about customer framing and a custom furniture seminar at a local furniture store.
