FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Each massage therapist is different. If the massage only feels good while you are having the massage, but the pain remains without increased range of motion - you need to try another massage therapist. You also need to feel safe, feel like you are not being judged, and that your needs come first. Voice what you don't like as well as what you do like. Results combined with your comfort level is critical.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Every massage therapist tells you to drink lots of water when you have a massage. BUT the reason this is so important and should not be skipped is that as material that has been trapped in tight muscles is moved out, our bodies need water to dilute them and help move them through our kidneys and liver without negative effects. Elimination is important. Water, movement that will move our lymph as well, and deep breathing all help you get the very most out of your massage with the least tenderness afterwards. Plus these things help you make the results of your massage last longer before lapsing back into your bad habits create more pain.
