- What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer individualized, holistic music lessons in a wide variety of styles for voice, clarinet, piano, music theory, or general therapeutic value on a sliding scale basis. Music styles range from classical and contemporary to jazz, world, etc. I help establish a comfortable, creative atmosphere where self expression and music exploration are encouraged. Lesson plans and curriculums are based around student goals and needs and can combine various skills (such as singing and music theory) as desired. We utilize a broad variety of instruments, technology, musical equipment, and other materials depending upon your interests. My job is to make it fun while learning!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to ask for references from any potential teacher. Do a Google search on their name. Ask for a free trial lesson. Resumes and reviews may sound great but it's the in person feel that seems to ultimately predict a great teacher-student fit.
