Katharine Kimball photographed two of our client families, and I had the pleasure of watching her work. Not only is her product first rate, her demeanor with customers is extremely warm, comfortable, and respectful. It isn't easy to get to know somebody well enough to let their true self shine through, but Katharine was able to do so in almost no time, across a very serious language barrier. She shot our families at home, after dark, while they went about their usual evening routines. Katharine was able to take over the home, rearrange furniture, position and reposition the families in numerous poses, all without disrupting the family or being a burden. This is all very important to us, but for those primarily interested in her product, Katharine's photos are stunning. I have never seen such beautiful photographs of our clients. She captured their personalities, their humanity, their relationships to one another in an extremely elegant and dignifying way. I couldn't recommend her more highly. -Andrew Haley, IRCO

Katharine Kimball is a Total Pro! We hosted a Women in Tech Conference and offered free professional head shots for the attendees. Not knowing how best to execute on such a large scale we called Katharine and she walked us through it. She asked great questions ahead of time helping us better plan and budget for this portion of the event. On the day of the event she showed up early, set up quickly and got right to work! She shot over 100 headshots that day and helped each woman feel their best as she did so. Her ready smile, gentle humor and supportive demeanor helped each subject relax and express herself. The clients had fun and we had a wonderfully easy and successful shoot. Win, win! You can't go wrong with Katharine!

Katherine photographed our wedding last year and her work was truly amazing. We met up and discussed what type of photos we were looking for and she delivered. The thing that impressed me the most is that we got our photos 2 weeks after our wedding. She was professional at all times and was a pleasure to work with. Pricing depends on scope of the project or session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I've had incredibly wonderful clients ! I like to make people laugh although I do take my photography seriously.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters degree in photojouralism. I have also worked overseas as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and photographing professionally in Cuba, Myanmar, Peru, The Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain and France.
