Kari photographed our civil ceremony at the Multnomah County Courthouse in downtown Portland and was wonderful! She met us before the ceremony to take photos by the river and across the Hawthorne Bridge (her suggestion!), was incredibly patient with our families in the courthouse awaiting the ceremony, and stayed after the ceremony to take photos on the steps of the courthouse. When the photographer we had lined up to capture our kids' 4th birthday party canceled at the last minute, we panicked and thought there was no way we'd find a replacement. My event was at 4pm. She texted message me 6 hours ago telling me she had a bad cold and that I suppose to find someone else myself to shoot the photos. No reference, and not enough time for me to do so, this is really not professional. ( On top of it, if anyone has a bad cold, its has to be going on for a while, the least she cold you was telling me a lot earlier instead of waiting til last moment.)

Natalie did an amazing job for our wedding! It was a small and intimate setting, and we hadn’t planned to have a photographer until the week before. As luck would have it, we found Natalie, she was available and we were able to have her “save” moments of our special day that, truly, will be treasured forever. Weddings, especially, have so much planning involved but once you are in it, it goes by on a blink of an eye and the day is over before you know. It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to look at her pictures and have time to reflect on the importance of the day and to be reminded of the love that was shared in those quickly passing moments. Natalie was warm, gracious and kind. It felt natural to have her as part of our wedding group and we have received nothing but compliments on the fruits of her labor. We plan to work with her again for family pictures in the future. We highly recommend her should you find yourself seeking the right person to preserve the memories of your special day/event!
