- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons start at $30 for a half an hour, $50 per hour. Payments may be made per lesson via check, cash or Venmo.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first lesson we need to make sure that my teaching style works for you. We will discuss where you are musically, what you wish to achieve with your lessons and what kind of music you want to sing. After this we will find your voice type and run a mini-lesson consisting of warm ups and a look at any music you bring with you. That’s right, we’ll be going through a piece on your first day, so make sure you bring something you like!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music Performance from Portland State University and am continuously joining programs or stage recitals to keep myself sharp as a singer. I also visit a coach myself, it is always the best way to get a second opinion on pieces.
