Introduction: With us, the security and well-being of your pets comes FIRST! From what I hear when I interview new clients, that has not always been the case with pet care providers.
One lady told me the pet sitter she hired just didn't come, for TWO WEEKS. They got home to find their beloved cat starved to death. A very sad, if extreme, example of why to do some research, ask for references, trust your gut reaction, and once you find that special person that cares for your pet with loving kindness, to never let them go!!

Ellen has done house sitting and pet sitting for us since she began her business. When Ellen is in our home, we can leave with peace of mind. Ellen is extremely conscientious, competent and experienced. Her background working at a veterinarian's office gives her the knowledge to work well with all animals and to handle any pet problems that may arise. We have chickens, a dog, and a cat. At the time of one vacation, our dog had a wound that needed dressing changes and medications. We could leave with confidence that Ellen could handle the situation given her past work experience. Ellen is also able to deal with any unexpected in-home emergencies while we are away. We had a water pump break during one of Ellen's stays in our home, and she took care of everything for us. I love being able to leave for vacation knowing that my home is in the hands of someone who will oversee our animals and house with great care, attention and competence.

We LOVE Ellen. Ellen was first recommended to us by a breeder we know and trust. We felt comfortable leaving Ellen with our rambunctious Weimaraner the very first time. If we can't get Ellen to house and pet sit we have been known to change dates for our vacations based on "her" availability. That's how much we trust her in our home and with our Weimie. Our "child" requires lots of loving attention and exercise and she expertly provides both. As others have said, the house is always picked up, plants watered and back yard cleaned of .... you know. Feel free to ask to speak with us if you would like further validation of Ellen's excellent service which truly gives you Peace of Mind when leaving town!

Ellen is dependable and discreet. She has housesat for us several times, a week or more per visit. We left food and other items and resources for her use, which she left for us to use instead, upon our return. As for inhabiting the house, she treads lightly, rather like a good hiker -- taking only memories, leaving only footprints. We have recommended her to our friends, and we have booked her for three different housesits in the coming months. We have no pets, but friends of ours have told me she was very good with their dogs, who were happy, healthy and had not gone at all mental during the absence. You can count on Ellen, have an easy mind about your premises while you are away, and when you return, you will find your home in the same apple pie order in which you no doubt left it.

Our family went on a 11 day trip and Ellen came in to watch our two dogs and two cats. It really made a difference in how our home was as well as how are animals seemed when we arrived home.
One impressive example; as we were traveling home I had left information on our flight arrival, and when we arrived home we would call to let her know all is fine, well our flight was delayed for just a tiny amount of time, we arrived home about a 1/2 hour later than anticipated. Without hesitation Ellen called to make sure we were home safe or to see if we were delayed, if she hadn't reached us, or if there was an issue she would be heading over to our home to feed and take care of our pets and home!! Impressive to know someone is there to anticipate your needs and help in any way.
All I can say is I wish every one had the opportunity to rely on such a great resource of care for our animals as well as peace of mind for our home while you are away.
