Personal Training

I've never had a trainer before, and I have a lot of mental health baggage around exercise. If you've never had a trainer, or if you're new to exercise, this is the trainer for you. Monica was extremely understanding of the mental piece, and she also understood all my physical conditions as well. She was extremely knowledgable about muscles and tendons and knew how to work around my pain spots, it almost felt like seeing a physical therapist. I feel confident that she "knows her stuff" and she has a great personality as well.

My son and I worked with Mon for two years. Her attention to detail was amazing. I’ve had to work through some shoulder issues and she helped me work through them. My son is a high school student who plays football. Our goal was strength gain as a well as agility training. She put together a program that helped my son see tremendous gains on the field. I would recommend Mon as a trainer to anyone no matter what level of fitness or goals.

Monica is great! I enlisted her to help train my wife who is newer to fitness. Her understanding of training movements is extensive and she kept my wife feeling safe during the sessions. Her attention to detail and standards for safety in movement are very high. Monica helped encourage my wife to challenge herself in the gym. That’s a big deal as she has always felt afraid to lift weights due to a fear of injury and the typical notion of “getting bulky.” Her advice for nutrition was very realistic and maintainable. I began finding myself experiencing some FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) so now I also workout with Monica as well. It doesn’t matter if you are experienced or new to fitness/health/nutrition. Monica is well equipped with the ability to coach anyone. In today’s fitness industry, I feel that is a rare trait to have. I’d highly recommend Monica as a personal trainer!

I trained with Monica online during the pandemic and it was an excellent experience! Really kept me going during some tough Covid times. She’s very positive and supportive. I was not nearly as in shape as the other ladies in the group but she always made me feel a part of the group, encouraged me in areas I was doing well in, and I never felt bad about the lower weights I was training with. She had her eyes on all of us and gave clear, helpful adjustments, and she chose routines that were varied enough to keep it interesting but with enough consistency to keep us in a good flow. Highly recommended!

Mon-mon is the type of trainer everyone needs. She understands how to motivate you and has you achieving goals you never thought possible. Mon-mon is compassionate and caring and you can really feel the genuine desire she has to help you. I am not as young as I once was and she recognizes that modifications might be needed which is awesome but she makes you follow through. She is not intimidating even when she is pushing you to keep going.
