With 3 kids and 2 jobs the choices that I must make when it comes to mealtime are usually based on what is easy, not what is best for my family. Cooking for the 5 of us is more time consuming than our schedules permit. (Even more so when you are mediocre, at best,at cooking such as I am) Allison brought "Dinner Time" back into our home. She was on time for our initial consultation and listened to my family's likes and dislikes. When she left my kitchen was cleaner than when she got here and I was left with prepackaged meals that all I had to do was pull them out of the freezer and reheat them with the step by step instructions that she left. I simply don't have the time to plan,shop,cook,and clean for balanced meals and Allison is now my solution for that. I look forward to seeing you in two weeks. Thank you for everything!!
Ashley completed the first cooking course with my son Louis Jr. She is a very professional chef with all the credentials. She is the real deal! She arrives before time, she has all of the supplies, etc. I like the way she communicates with my son who has autism. She is very respectful. Her wording is clear and understandable. Usually I have to coach a person a lot before they are able to communicate well with my son. She is reasonably priced and the food was amazing tasty beyond my expectations. I would like Ashley to cook for my other group events as well. This was my first experience using Thumbtack and it was a winner!!
Chef Guidry of Twice the Spice Caterer food was delicious! She delivered personal chef service for a special birthday dinner party. The food was very fresh and high grade/quality. The menu items were well balanced and included an appetizer, several different entrees, and desert. Stephanie even brought drink mixers and adjusted the menu to everyones liking, taste, and dietary. Chefs professionalism extended throughout her cooking and presentation. She was even able to accommodate a few unexpected guests. The food was well prepared, finely seasoned to perfection, absolutely picture perfect and enjoyably delicious! She definitely brought a fine dining restaurant experience to our home handling the shopping, cooking, serving and cleanup. We will definitely utilize Chef Guidry of Twice the Spice Caterer again! Having participants to actually prepare the dish reinforced the importance and meaning of cooking foods in a more healthy way. I have hired Dineomatic a couple of times, both to teach cooking classes for my business (which were fabulous and fun!) as well as to cater my company's holiday party. Matt has a contagious love for food and flavors, and his cooking shows that. He willingly took on a South American themed menu for our party, and produced delicious, colorful dishes that my guests loved. He paired the food with festive signature cocktails that created a buzz as my guests arrived for the evening. So cool. Sherrill came to my home and cooked dinner for me and my elderly parents twice a week for a few months to help me out as I could not get home until later. She created some original dishes from what was in the fridge or made a specific recipe, depending on if something was requested or not. The food was always tasty and well prepared. And she cleaned up the kitchen afterward!
Christina was a great cooking instructor. We gave her our dietary restrictions & requirements and she developed the menu. We enjoyed learning new techniques and the food was excellent. The ginger carrot soup was the biggest hit and enjoyed again last night. Thanks Christina!!
We had a great lesson and great fun with Brooke. She really tries to figure out what you want in a menu, and she's serious and passionate but easy going about her craft. I learned a lot about cooking, enjoyed her sense of humor and overall it was a great experience. (Ps, Brooke, I ate the stir fry again for breakfast!) We are looking forward to our next lesson!
We hosted a birthday dinner for 10 people and hired Jen and Max for a private dinner. Jen and Max were amazing!!! The food and service was outstanding! We were served a 5 course dinner with wine pairing, all our guest cannot stop expressing how great dinner was. We will definitely be using Jen and Max again!
I have medical conditions that leave me exhausted after working 8 hour days. As a result, I would not have the energy to cook healthy meals. Our dinners included fast food, delivery or pre-packaged meals. When I found out that Traci, a friend of my sister, was in culinary school I approached her about becoming our personal chef and preparing 4-5 meals a week that are either ready to cook with minimal efforts or only needs to be reheated. In January 2015, we hired Traci as our personal chef. I provided Traci with some of our favorite recipes. A shared Pinterest board was also created to share online recipes. As my husband is a picky eater, finding recipes that he approves has been a challenge. Traci quickly learned acceptable foods and has been great about suggesting substitutions for recipes. After 2 months of working with Traci, I had to go on a low sodium diet. She had no problems modifying meals so they would be lower in sodium. Each week Traci prepares the next weeks meal plan by reviewing our approved recipes and requests for repeated meals. We review the meal plan and make changes as needed. Traci purchases the food while considering ingredients that she still has in stock. On the following day, she prepares the meals in her house. The meals are placed into glass dishes or covered disposable foil serving trays with copy of the recipes attached. After the meals are ready, I pick up them up at her house. The meals are then kept in the refrigerator (or the freezer) until I am ready to cook/heat it. We provide Traci feedback on each meal. Traci accepts our feedback well and takes into consideration our requests when making the meal again. The meals have been delicious and most have earned a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The meals not receiving 5 stars were not a result of Tracis meal preparation skills but due to the recipe, such as the seasonings. Prior to hiring Traci I was never fond of left-overs. Now I find myself excited to have left-overs. Traci has even gotten my husband to eat foods I never expected. My husband has eaten and really liked meals prepared by Traci that he did not like when made by myself or family. He has even eaten vegetables that he has refused to eat as he thought he didnt like them. I highly recommend Traci Zammetti as a personal chef. Not only are our meals better tasting than I would make, but we are healthier as a result of the healthier meals and less stress in our lives.
Great classes, and fabulous food! We love Sara's teaching style and she is a confident and inspiring chef. Would highly recommend Sara for a cooking class or as a personal chef! You will not be disappointed!!!!
I have to give Three Tables Catering an outstanding review. They catered my wedding at White Chimneys Estate in Gap PA on July 11th 2015. They provided everything, and I mean everything except alcohol for cocktail hour, dinner, dessert and bar service. Brandon and David are the nicest, most easy-going guys, but they deliver outstanding service. When I first contacted them I literally had no idea what I wanted. My groom and I had totally different opinions on food plus we needed some vegetarian options. Brandon was very patient with us, and we ended up designing our own special menu that was made up of some of our favorite foods. We got great reviews from our guests about everything. My parents were so happy with their experience that they hired them to cook brunch at their house for out of town guests the morning after the wedding!!! If you are a control freak or super picky, leave that aside. You can put your trust in Three Tables.
