What a fantastic teacher! So friendly and incredibly passionate about music. Michael was able to help me with 2 of my vocal issues during our very first lesson. I'm eager to return and may also take piano lessons from him in the future.
My experience working with Solveig was absolutely great! Solveig is very patient and a great instructor. She works with you to accomplish your goals and is always encouraging and supportive. She is very skilled and has a very strong musical background, making her very knowledgeable in our lessons. Solveig has a very relaxed demeanor which made lessons very pleasant and made learning and focusing on the piano much easier. I would absolutely recommend Solveig for instruction on the piano!
I`ve been taking guitar lessons from Steve for seven weeks now and I find him to be a GREAT teacher and very knowledgeable on everything when it comes to anything related to music. If you want to know anything about a particular instrument or Amp or anything related to music Steve can guide you. I`m an older student and mentally handicapped sometimes ;) and he`s very patient with me. I give him 5 stars and would recommend to him to anyone.
Adam did a great job teaching me the basics of the keyboard. I have no music background and have never been taught to play an instrument. I wanted to learn 1 song for my wedding. Adam learned the song and wrote the notes for me so I could easily learn them. He was flexible with scheduling and always remembered where we left off even if there were several months between lessons (due to my schedule). He was very patient even when I struggled. I would recommend Adam for keyboard/piano lessons.
Carol has been wonderful as a music teacher. I was very nervous to start piano as an adult learner since it had been many years that I played. Carol is understanding, calm and motivating. She also challenges me with varied music and methods of learning. Although I am taking piano lessons, I am also learning music theory and the ability to accompany other instruments. I would highly recommend Carol as a music teacher.
It was by luck that we found Ms. Renee's MYC program! With our two older children, we have started lessons with various teachers but none have held their interest. Far too often, music lessons are either boring, repetitive, discouraging and/or simply not that much fun! As a result, my older two children did not continue with their piano lessons... This past fall, I began again to look for a music program suitable for our 6 yr old and 8 yr old daughters. I was intrigued by the MYC program since it was unlike any other piano lessons offered in the current market. Music for Young Children is comprehensive and expertly integrates singing, ear training, sight reading, creative movement, rhythm, music theory and music composition. It is incredible to witness the level of encouragement and joy that is built directly into the curriculum of MYC. This allows for a childs joyful nature to be supported, while learning musical concepts in a deep and meaningful way. Over the past several months, we have been gifted with a solid music education in a family fun group-based environment that enhances parent and child involvement. In addition to a qualify program, we love Ms. Renee. She is a kind, gentle and talented teacher whose love for music has been fostered in our children. It is not unusual for our children to leave the lesson commenting on how much they enjoyed their lessons. In addition to enjoying the lessons, the children can be found singing the songs, making musical connections and gravitating to the piano. And, more recently, we performed our recital pieces at a local nursing home. Ms. Renee has taught us that music is a gift... and a gift that should be shared... In my humble opinion, MYC is indeed the best quality music education I have had the pleasure to experience. Terri McDonald
My 8yr old son has been taking piano lessons with Lee for almost 2 yrs. We could not be more pleased! Lee is a very talented musician who shares his enthusiasm with his students. He is very kind and patient while still expecting the most from my son. My son looks forward to his piano lesson each week. He even loves theory! I am amazed with how far my son has come already and it is to the credit of his great teacher. We would recommend Lee Clarke to anyone who has a love for music and would like to become more knowledgable and successful in it!

All class sessions will be scheduled in ½ hour and 1 hour increments. Half hour sessions are $25 and hour sessions are $45. We offer the following services: * Voice - will consist primarily of private vocal coaching. These coaching sessions will focus on breathing technique, phrasing, enunciation, pronunciation, passion, inflection, stage presence, delivery, connecting mind body and soul and over all artistry. These aspects are all main arteries of singing which lead to the heart of the song, ultimately resulting in the proper execution of such. Vocal coaching sessions are held on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 5:00-9:00. * Piano - lessons are for beginning students only. These lessons will consist of basic piano skills; note reading, note value, rhythm, time signature, key signature, notation and sight reading. These skills will enable the student to look at a piece of music, easily identify its contents, and play it. Piano lessons are held on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 5:00-9:00 pm. * Guitar - lessons will be offered in private and group study. Both will focus on reading and playing guitar music. While group sessions offer atmosphere and support, private study allows the instructor to focus solely on one student. Private study develops not only reading and playing skills but will strongly influence style. * Acoustic guitar is preferred. Guitar lessons are held on Saturdays from 10:00 am-5:00 pm. * Drumming - lessons are also offered in private and group study. These lessons will demonstrate basic drumming skills. Skills such as: basic drum patterns, basic and complex rhythms, different styles of drumming, etc. Drummers will begin work on drum pads and progress to playing set. Drum lessons will be given on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.
