Wendy worked with my daughter for a year and was phenomenal!!! She taught her how to focus and articulate emotion into her dialogues and so much more. My daughter absorbed everything Wendy taught her and loved implementing it on her auditions. Wendy makes it fun and exciting as well as keeping it stress-free. She is truly an OUTSTANDING & PROFESSIONAL person. Thank you Wendy!!!

My 10 year old daughter has been taking singing lessons from Paul for the past 2 years, (recently added guitar lessons) -- I cannot even put into words how awesome he is as an teacher. Just the right amount of nurturing, positive encouragement and fun. And he comes with years and years of "in the business" experience, so his advice really carries weight. It's a bit of a drive from where we are to get to him, but we cannot even imagine going to anyone else. Daughter literally looks forward to each lesson (this is the same person that groans every morning about school, just to give some context). Worth the drive. Worth the cost.

About

I'm a Philadelphia-based actor and musician on the side. I came here to study acting at the University of the Arts and found an artistic home here. I've appeared in over 25 productions, most recently Man of La Mancha at Act II Playhouse and Three Sisters at Arden Theater Company. I'm great for monologue coaching. I also have played guitar in a few bands and can help you get started playing.

Carly is an excellent acting coach. She has provided valuable information about the entertainment industry from the very first lesson. She is patient, attentive, and non-judgemental. Each lesson, I walk away feeling I have progressed. She is clearly experienced as a director and educator, and I am especially impressed with her easy going but professional manner. She is helping me create on an acting reel for marketing purposes, and I am pleased with her detailed attention to the project. I am lucky to be working with her.

My daughter has been taking classes in acting at the West Chester Studio for several years. The quality of the teaching far surpasses anything else she has been involved in to date. Therese Waldon-Murphy is an excellent acting teacher. She has the experience and knowledge that I trust will deliver just what my daughter needs in this business.

Michael is a phenomenal teacher through and through. He has guided me in delving into characters and helped me to understand the unique nuances that come with acting. Michael has not only taught me about the "How?" of acting but also the "Why?". He has made me think about acting in a way that really puts myself and my own experiences in the role of the character. This acting training has also played a role in teaching the vocal aspects of musical theater. Michael has helped me in many of the technical aspects of vocal technique while still integrating the acting training into it. The juxtaposition of the nuances acting training and technical vocal training is incredibly unique and makes Michael a teacher any student in the performing arts should want.

Jake Stamatis is an excellent instructor for voice lessons. Since day 1, He is able to adjust his instructions to his students to where they would benefit the student the most. He has helped me find comfort in singing with my voice and helping me differentiate between singing and screaming. I have been taking lessons from Stamatis for several months and I can say that I have improved dramatically since my first lesson with Stamatis. It was inconceivable for me to think that I could ever have vibrato, but after rigorous training during and in my own time, I am understanding how to use vibrato through the use of breath. I honestly do not think that I would have gotten this far without the help of Stamatis. I did not think that I would be comfortable with my singing voice, but Stamatis has largely affected my perspective. Also, he's a jokester so beware for his jokes. Overall, I enjoy having Stamatis as my instructor.
