Marie is great! My daughter and I decided that we needed a lifestyle change. We wanted to incorporate real exercise into our lives. We are slightly better than couch potatoes. We wanted fitness, but we were not trying to be iron women or anything...we just want to be healthier. Marie developed a program for us to do on our own and we have sessions with her to up the workout as needed. She checks in regularly on us and we are regulars at her bleacher bootcamp. She is enthusiastic and pushes us just enough without being crazy or demoralizing us. I highly recommend her no matter your fitness level. My daughter and I are at the very bottom if the fitness ladder and feel good about where Marie is taking us. We have had the chance to see other clients as well who are more like those you expect to see hiring a trainer. So if you are more like my daughter and I, just starting out, or a real workout king or queen check out Marie...it will be the best money you have ever spent on yourself.
Adventure bootcamp was my first group training experience and, I have to admit, the idea of being involved in something with the word "bootcamp" in it was intimidating. I expected a drill sergeant type of instructor barking at me to get my legs up higher or drop and do 20 push-ups. Instead I met Phil who's style of motivation was surprisingly nonthreatening. He let me work at my pace but didn't let me slack. This left me with a feeling a empowerment instead of defeat. I contribute a lot of my enthusiasm to not only his encouragement but also his ability to always come up with innovative ways to challenge his clients. You never knew what you would be doing that day but you always knew at the end you would feel like you've gotten an incredible workout and a sense of accomplishment because you were stretched go do things you never imagined you could. I can say with certainty that nothing is beyond my reach or ability because I've told myself I can't many times in the past and after taking his course I've seen those cant's change to cans and wills. If you're on the fence about whether you should sign up for one of Phils classes take my advice and just give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Doug has been my personal trainer four or five days a week for the last nine months, and occasionally before then. Doug is a committed and dependable worker. He has taken me from being afraid of and/or unable to do certain things to being able to do advanced level TRX and boxing! I am a forty-six year old female with a disc herniation, fibromyalgia and arthritis and Doug has been able to work within my limitations to help me build muscle, lose weight and increase my endurance. He has motivated me to do far more than I thought I could, and my health has improved greatly because of it. He is attentive and is always teaching me new things and challenging me. He listens to me If I tell him something causes me pain and he often can simply adjust my stance or grip so I can continue. Doug is also very personable and intelligent and maintains an interest in my life in general. He frequently asks about my diet and encourages me to incorporate an all-around healthy lifestyle. I look forward to working out under his instruction and have continued my training well past my original intentions because I have made so much progress. I have watched Doug train a wide variety of people--young, old, fit and not-so-fit--and he is patient and respectful to them all. I highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
I trained with Built By Mike for a little less than a year, but unfortunately had to stop his services due to moving. Mike was great during every training session and was extremely encouraging. I would strongly reccommmed his services to anyone trying to improve their body or their nutritional needs.
The best decision I have made is commit to training with Andrea & Joe. I'm seeing results & feeling stronger every week. The workouts are always different & challenging. I'm able to push harder than I ever thought I could. It is a great space having the personal attention is so important. They are really invested in your experience and pushing you forward. When you work out you get what you put in. That's why when you are not giving it your all Chip will let you know. Chip encourages you to do your best but does not force you to. He's always changing his workouts to keep you Challenged. His knowledge in nutrition and training is second to none. I'm getting in the best shape I have been in since high school.
I've been training with Bryan Preston for the last year. My goal was to get in better shape than when I was 21. He helped me design a plan to get there and I'm thrilled with the results. Aesha comes to my house to train me about twice a week. It is very hard for me to go to a gym to workout due to my personal situation at home but having Aesha has allowed me to work on myself 2 hours a week.
