MaryAnn, I’m disappointed by this review because it leaves out several important facts about what actually happened. Your original gate was an old, heavily rusted wrought-iron gate that was removed during the project and left on your property. Unfortunately, it disappeared overnight. Even though we were not responsible for someone taking the gate, I offered to make things right and provided and installed a brand-new gate at absolutely no additional cost to you. More importantly, before the incident with the Amazon delivery driver, you told us that we had done a good job and you were satisfied with our work. It was only afterward that you contacted me saying the replacement gate had broken following the Amazon delivery. You sent me a message about the gate, but before giving me a reasonable opportunity to respond, inspect what happened, or offer a solution, you immediately posted this 1-star review and described our company as unreliable and untrustworthy. I believe that characterization is extremely unfair. We completed the porch/deck and railing work, and when something happened to your old gate, we went beyond the original scope of work and provided you with a brand-new replacement gate for free. When another issue was reported, we weren’t even given the opportunity to address it before this review was posted. We stand behind our work, and when there is a legitimate issue, we make every reasonable effort to resolve it. I believe what we did for you demonstrates exactly that. — Fabio, F-Rossi General Contractors
