FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hypnosis is a constantly evolving field and because of that it is important to grow our skills. I attend classes about 4 times a year to have the most up to date training. I am also a hypnosis and hypnotherapy trainer which means when I am not taking classes I am either teaching my own courses or am in the process of developing new courses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since I was a little girl I had a fascination with hypnosis. It captivated my imagination. When I went to university I was very fortunate to discover our library had a huge section of hypnosis related books so I spent much of my free time immersing myself in the works of some of the legendary pioneers in the field. When I began my doctoral program I had found that I what I was learning was not making the world a better place. I was not having any tangible positive impact. It was that desire to help others and be a force for good in the world that drove me to return to my passion with full force. After earning my hypnotherapy certification I then went on to open my practice in Philadelphia. Since that time I have worked with hundreds of clients, helping them to achieve their goals for a happy, healthy, and successful life. For me that is the most satisfying feeling in the world, witnessing the joy that comes from transformation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common clients I get are those with phobias and smokers. I enjoy working with both categories because the results are often very quick and quite powerful.
