After experiencing the devastating losses of both parents before the age of eleven, I learned to expect to lose. Now a committed husband, father of two, and successful entrepreneur I am obsessed with winning. I was privileged to spend over ten years in a training and development role with Apple focusing on helping the company develop engaged motivated and driven professionals. I also helped the company role out their diversity equity and inclusion initiatives across retail. As an educational consultant and motivational speaker, I teach youth, young adults and professionals how to develop the social emotional skills, and mindset necessary to overcome any and all adversity. I’ve spoken at dozens of colleges, schools and youth organizations. I believe that there is purpose in your pain, and that when you learn to lean into your discomfort, true growth and breakthrough take place. Fantastic Professional Development Training for our Board of Directors! Everyone wanted more and was sad when our time together came to an end! iAM Legend is top notch, professional and on the mark. From July 11 - August 4 iAM Legend LLC (Ismail) led our group of 55 Black and Brown men through three dynamic workshops during our Center for Male Engagement summer program. The value that Ismail brought would be hard to quantify, because each of the 55 students learned their own lesson that they needed to learn. That is why we will ask him back semester after semester. The care and prior planning that he did showed in his ability to connect with our students beyond the superficial. His charisma allowed students to shed the masks they often wore and get uncomfortable in order to grow. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is all inclusive meaning you do not need to worry about travel expenses, lodging, food accommodations. While I will present pricing, I am always happy to discuss how I can make my services fit inside of your budget. My purpose in this world is to be a light to others, I never want the cost to get in the way of adding value to others.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to schedule a 30 minute consultation to get to know the customers needs, vision as well as expectations. Once I’ve gained insight on objectives I can formulate a scope of work, proposal and then share a contract.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Interpersonal Communication and Public speaking.
