Introduction: From an instructors standpoint; I am different from the rest , merely because I care about what is learned --more than what I can do myself. I get more satisfaction from you absorbing my method--so that you will always remember it-- than anything else. As far as entertaining my audience; I am told that it is memorable. I feel tremendous satisfaction capturing those who are watching . I find fulfillment in including them in my performance, as to make them feel just exactly how approachable I am. I never underestimate my audience. They are there to watch and enjoy --- I happened to have a great time in the process. Introducing myself to new people and re-connecting with those that I have met and still want to share song and dance with me. Creating new themes, costumes, gimmicks -- re-inventing old standards to a young audience or rekindling a memory to others.Seeing someone walk away with a memory ( even for that time only) of how fun it was to sing and/ or dance to the music.

Miss Susan is proffessional dance teacher. When I started to re-learn the many dances I did in high school, Miss Susan came highly reccommended. My husband and I went to her for months, In fact my husband was the only man in the class at that time and she made he feel so welcomed every week. When new dances came out and I could not learn them on the dance floor I went back to Miss Susan, for she broke it down and made it much easier to learn & remember. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. When we went to her dance school and we for there early she has a class full of young students. When it was time for them to leave they kissed her goodbye and said Thank You Miss Susan. They were very energetic and happy children. Her enthusiasm was very contagious. She is always prepared, she does her job above and beyond. She has the ability to take control and make it fun at the same time. If after class you needed to go over something one more time she would stay and help you out and let you know what you were doing wrong nicely. Thank You Miss Susan for always given your best and never disappoint.

I find it refreshing to learn from a professional dance instructor who is not restricted to formal dance. While dancing beside her,and learning with her,I have come to realize that Susan brings this knowledge base with her. She will break down new dances and enable the learner to identify and difereniate specific dance steps that are not just the "trends" of today. Susan bridges the gap for the amateur dancer between those trends and formal dance. That speaks volumes in quality and sets her apart from the rest. Her high energy presentation incorporates those professional formal dance steps into fun and excitement while bringing the group together as a well oiled team. She is a true motivator and facilator on the dance floor. You will never be bored, and she is a tough act to follow.

My experience with Miss Susan has been exceptional! Susan IS the consumate professional, whether teaching line dances to a group, directing & producing a complete recital production, or being "hostess with the mostest" at a dance party or party event.

I had heard of Miss Susan, and wanted to know more about her lessons. When I saw her on the floor, I did not know that I could pick up the dances from someone with so much energy and enthusiasm. As soon as she stepped out from role as dancer to teacher, she broke down steps and movements in a way that allowed the class to almost immediately replicate the dances. Teaching has not taken place, until learning occurs. Miss Susan not only demonstrated the proper movements, she taught the class how to do the dances. She is the best!

No, not complicated but varies. I can not charge the same for every event. $ 200.00 is average . Budgets come into play. Instruction : $50.00 private class $ 10.00 per person group class { traveling to your location prices vary} Senior Centers - in the area $75.00 Day Care' Pre-schools - $75.00 2 hours appx
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a sponge--- I absorb everything and anything I see . People watching, young and old. Looking in the mirror and moving to see what looks and feels good. Videos, PBS performances, old dvds of performances, and believe it or not LAWRENCE WELK show every Saturday night --- when I can-- to capture the past . I explore my own creations of choreography as well as others who are entering the field. MIX 'EM UP AND presto!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Never gave it a thought . Just did it . Driven by Divine forces beyond my control.
