FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects experience in the field. I work for you both in and out of our lessons, sending you follow up emails, gathering materials and songs, listening and practicing materials you would like to work on, and constantly figuring out how to help you reach your musical goals. Discounts are offered merely as a way to offset the cost of purchasing multiple upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I encourage new students to sign up for one 30 minute lesson to begin. In the lesson, I will introduce my teaching style and teach you an overall introduction to your instrument. I will provide you with some materials to get started right away at home. Once we discuss your goals and interests, we can then decide the best length of lesson and begin weekly or bi-weekly instruction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance, a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and an Education minor, I have extensive training and knowledge music theory, piano, performance, and voice techniques. I also began studying music through piano and have been studying the instrument for over 15 years. I have helped my students reach goals such as performing in their first concert or show, competing and winning competitions, overcoming technical issues in their instrument, landing lead roles in musicals, getting into collegiate music programs, and even singing on Broadway.
