FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is generally: $35 for each 30 minute lessons $45 for each 45 minute lessons $55 for each 60 minute lessons I say generally because if I need to drive a far distance to go to you, I must account for the gas milage and time. I have a home studio that is equipped with an electric piano and sound system. Lessons are usually weekly, but there are times when two lessons during one week is recommended (preparation for an upcoming college/musical audition). **Discounts are available for those who pay for the whole month (4 weekly lessons) worth of lessons at the beginning of the month.**
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing is the student and I will exchange general information, such as how long have you been singing/playing harmonica or piano. Once the student and I line up a time and day to schedule the lessons then we will discuss goals and address fundamentals in singing/playing their instrument. Whether you're completely new to private lessons or just joining my studio, welcome! I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2016, I graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Music Education, with a focus on voice. During my time there, I studied vocal pedagogy with Dr. Emily Bullock and had three years of private voice lessons with Dr. Inyoung Lee. Many of my classes were of course geared towards teaching classroom and one-on-one lessons. My student teaching field experience was at Marple Newtown High School and Unionville Elementary school teaching the choir, music theory, piano, and general music courses. I conducted performances and helped out with the musical theater show. I have several private students, but I also teach at two different music schools in the area: Music Nation Academy (Doylestown) and Ambler Music (Ambler). I am interested in expanding my personal studio.
