Mirabai officiated our wedding this past summer and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with how the ceremony turned out. We had interviewed quite a few officiants for our big day because we really wanted to make sure we had the right person. It was important to us that the ceremony reflect us as a couple, as individuals, and the love we shared for one another. Since we did not want a traditional ceremony, it was important that our officiant also be creative and a great help to us in designing the ceremony. We knew Mirabai was the best for the job from the very first time we met with her and she did not disappoint! I would recommend Mirabai to anyone who desires a meaningful and beautiful ceremony.

My Husband & I felt we had made a huge mistake divorcing after 28 years of marriage. So when we made the decision to renew our commitment to each other we knew we wanted a non traditional, low key, at home ceremony with our three grown children in attendance. We felt very much at ease with Mirabai as our wedding officiant. She understood completely our sense of family and fun. She added the perfect mix of romance, humor, gravity and spirituality to our ceremony. Mirabai helped to make our day very memorable and greatly impressed our children, one newly engaged. Our son & his fiance can not imagine their wedding without Mirabai officiating. When we speak of our wedding, everyone mentions Mirabai's gracious presence. Wish we could do it a third time!

My wife and I were looking for an alternative to getting married in City Hall. We needed to have an official marry us quickly and we wanted an intimate and meaningful setting, not the bureaucratic wedding we imagined at City Hall. Mirabai Galashan was more than accommodating and provided us with a beautiful ceremony. She was able to marry with little notice and was incredibly flexible, yet supportive with suggestions. Furthermore, she was so loving and you could just sense how much she values the sanctity of marriage. Mirabai was incredibly professional and seemed to care that we created our own ceremony to reflect the unique aspects of our relationship. I highly recommend her! We were so glad that we discovered Dearly Beloved.

Mirabai was amazing to work with! We had a fusion wedding of our own creation, so Mirabai took our original ideas and made them even better with her insights and knowledge of various ceremonies. Additionally, she was kind enough to do a rehearsal the day before with us to make sure the whole wedding party was in sync. Finally, she made our families and guests very comfortable with her great officiating and delivery. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and Mirabai was a large part of that.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

It's a calling. And it seemed the obvious choice to bring together my gifts as a writer, speaker and facilitator of sacred space.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Go with your gut. Hiring a wedding officiant is a very important decision, you want someone who is professional, experienced and capable of handling the tremendous responsibility of your wedding day. Yet equally important, is a feeling that you would be comfortable sharing the most intimate moment with this person.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish customers knew that my job is to work with them, to help them express their unique beliefs and create a ceremony that is truly meaningful, moving and memorable.
