We are please with our new sliding door installation. Our installer, Jim, was absolutely top notch. Courteous, professional and efficient. He cleaned up everything and the quality of the install was excellent. He obviously took pride is his work. He took the time to go over everything when the installation was completed and made sure that any questions we had were answered. We entertained a total of 5 estimates before making our decision. Three were for the identical door and the one we ended up having installed. Smart Shield was not the cheapest, but they were able to have it installed the quickest which was the most valuable factor for us. They were also not so much more it was worth waiting 3-5+ weeks to save a few dollars. Overall we are very pleased with the new door. It's only been two days, but the quality is far superior to what we had and we love the built in blinds for our needs. For us, it really was the quality of the installer that restored some faith in that quality contractors that care about their work still exist. We will certainly entertain estimates from Smart Shield in the future if additional needs arise.
