They arrived at 10:00am, they started measuring the storm and front doors, provided the measurements for both doors, referred me to buy doors from Home Depot and they would go over to the store and pick up the items. I ordered the front door, first but I couldn’t decide whether to buy a security or storm door but eventually I decided to order the storm door so while they still at Home Depot I placed the order for the storm door and the front door lock and just texted them the order number. Easy.
They returned with everything and then they went to working on replacing the old doors; it took them awhile to finish but when they did — FABULOUS! 👍👍 I have more projects planned for them and I will be calling only them. ❤️ ❤️

The guy who came to my house was nice. I hired him to reverse the swing of my closet door. He took a look and said it was most economical to buy a new pre-hung door, which he said they could procure for me. He said they were getting the same door (which would have matched every other door in the room and house). I was working from home. They acquired a door, but it was not the same door. It was a different style, size, and color than the existing door. He did not notify me of these differences and proceeded to remove my matching door and install the new one. He showed me only when he was done. I noticed the different style right away and that the door had had to be painted, but there was only time for a single coat. I wasn't happy but thought we could simply replace the door later. He also pointed out that there were unfinished edges around the entire door frame but said it was only because when they got the existing door out, they realized a two-by-four was missing that should have been there. He said he could come back another day and clean up the uneven wall and paint around the edges, but also noted that since I'd be having the bedroom painted soon anyway, I could just have those people fix it. He said the door replacement took longer than quoted but he'd honor his original quote. I agreed and paid him. After he left I realized the reason the edges were rough around the door was because the door was also a different size. It is shorter and less wide than all the other doors, including the one right next to it. And it's not just the paint that's an issue. There are gaps in the baseboards where the door should fill out the original frame. Now I can't simply get a new matching door in the right style and color. It will always be off-sized from the door beside it. This door is in my master bedroom and my house is relatively new and polished. If we were ever to sell this house we'd have to fix it. So we'll be fixing it now. Buying the right pre-hung door and now the moulding for the door frame too because he cut ours down to size. And we'll be hiring someone else and out the $570ish we paid to A to Z. He should have asked me before he installed a different door and shouldn't have lied about it after the fact. I could not be more disappointed.

Lee just finished a door install that was very involved. He reconfigured and modified the door openings and security door to make the door fit snuggly.
