FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge for my time by the hour and do not mark up vendors quotes as do some other providers. Depending on the scope of the project, it's possible I would charge a total project fee instead of the hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person to hear what the client's vision is for their special gathering or room design. From there we can start to pull apart all the details and see what we can accomplish within their budget to bring that vision to fruition.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is in Marketing and Public Relations and event planning falls under this umbrella. I'm always looking at things from an aesthetic viewpoint and strive to create materials or environments that are on brand with a client's overall message. It's very important to me that things are visually appealing whether it's a website, an invitation, or the design of an event or room; this can make or break the ultimate success of a product, service, or anything that is being presented to others.
