Introduction: I am a professional cellist who is passionate about sharing my love of music with others through teaching and performance. I obtained my masters of music, studying with Pittsburgh Symphony's principal cellist, Anne Martindale-Williams. I have performed in concert halls in Hawaii, Italy and Carnegie Hall in New York.
I also teach basic guitar, electric bass, and alternative styles of cello playing such as jazz, bluegrass and rock. Wherever your interests lie, whether it's learning Dvorak Cello Concerto or improvising over changes, I want to help take you to the next level!

Cody has been teaching me to play guitar for over two weeks. He makes learning easy, and gives me achievable goals every week. He also helps me to understand the theory behind what I am doing. I would highly recommend Cody to anyone trying to learn a new instrument.

I can't recommend Cody enough; the teaching that he's given (even in our few short lessons!) has been incredibly helpful in furthering my cello abilities - y'know, beginner though they may be! I very much enjoy my lessons with him; if you're here and you're looking, trust me: book him. He's excellent!
