Nick is the best! The workouts vary and range from yoga & pilates to boxing and resistance training. He always respond later and helps to keep me motivated.Jun 5, 2018Verified
The Healthy Yinzer has easily been one of the best investments, both mentally and physically, that I have ever made. Being that I have been an athlete my whole life, I came to Nick a year ago with both a foundation and an appreciation for working out. Nick built upon my foundation and allowed me to surpass boundaries that I thought I had already achieved. Because of that, I not only respect him as a trainer but trust him as a person and friend. He’s truly one of the best in business.Jun 6, 2018
Nick is the best. I’ve been working with him for almost a year and his knowledge about not only training techniques, but how the body works ensures a safe environment in which to be successful in all your goals. And his concept of working the whole body with fitness and healthy eating will put you on the road to feeling and looking your best.Jun 6, 2018
Searching for a trainer was hard for me, I wanted someone who is educated and could answer any questions that came up. After finding him on the Tumbtack app, I noticed he had multiple degrees and he was also a chef! So I hired him and after the first day I could tell he was truly something special. His knowledge and his workouts are something I look forward to each week. I would have Nick live in my guesthouse if I could! That’s how good he is. He is always coming up with different workouts and is always supplying me with healthy recipes to cook right after our workouts! He is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend him more!Feb 14, 2018
As a beginner starting my fitness journey, this was a great experience!Mar 1, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is value-based ($60/hr). Discounts are available if we are training more than 2x/wk. If I have to purchase food for a particular class, that is also added on to the cost of the session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For training: You will fill out a health history questionnaire which will be sent to you after a consultation. We will then plan to meet at the gym or your residence to start developing a program that is based off of your goals and exercise test results. This is a lifestyle change, therefore we will keep adding to the program as you progress. Private Chef: We will schedule a phone call and discuss how I can be of assistance. Private Yoga: If in need of a space we have a studio in Brookline that can be used for instruction. After we agree on a location we will discuss the style of yoga you want to practice and proceed from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over a decade of experience as a Sous Chef. I have 2 degrees in Exercise Science, a B.S from the University of Pittsburgh and an A.S from the Community College of Allegheny County.
