I am only through my first class with Dan, but so far it has been a great experience. You can tell that he has a passion for music and more importantly helping others. Dan approaches teaching in a unconventional way that allows his students to learn faster and have more fun. If you are looking for piano lessons, Dan should be your only choice!Jan 2, 2017Verified
I'm an aspiring singer and I want to accompany myself on piano. I had lessons when I was in grade school but only learned how to read. Those things didn't translate to the real world but I found Dan's ad and my life changed. I know what to do now. I can play chords, walk a bass line and I'm learning how to improvise. My mom is really amazed by the transformation. If you really want to learn how to play piano, you can't go wrong with Dan.Mar 24, 2015
I've always wanted to play piano but never had the time. That excuse went away when I saw Dan's video. I feel like I've gotten a great head start and the lessons I've had so far have built on what the video showed. That's why I hired the guy. He makes everything easy and I'd recommend him to anyone who asks.Mar 24, 2015
Dan Konefal is a highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable musician as well as teacher. His methodology is easy to follow and makes learning music quite enjoyable. Dan is patient, kind and is excellent at communicating with children. Youths and adults alike learn music with Dan's common sense approach and thoroughly appreciate his undying love of music! I highly recommend Dan Konefal.Feb 23, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I teach by the hour at $50 per. One-on-one instruction works best but my Blueprints convey the same information in the beginning stages. For promotional purposes, Blueprint #1 is free and you can consider that a discount, a gift from me to you. Who else here is giving you a preview of how he/she teaches, imparting a great deal of knowledge in the process and making it as simple as I do without asking for money? Blueprints #2 and #3 are now available on my site for $12.99 each. So, for $25.98, you'll get the equivalent of two lessons in person. Would you prefer to get stuck in traffic or relax at home and get the same information?
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, I direct him/her to check out my videos. They can get a good idea of my capabilities by watching and listening to me play. My Blueprints shows that I'm not a one-trick pony. I take pride in making what seems complicated easy to understand. I'm confident you'll concur once you view them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a B.S. in Music Education from Duquense University but that only got me to the starting gate. Everything else I've learned since then is a result of me keeping my eyes and ears open, working to develop myself with a large assist from Frank Cunimondo. His teaching was the spark that ignited me. The post-college education and training is of my own doing. I learn by watching, analyzing, asking questions and imitating. I've taught myself saxophone, bass guitar, trumpet and most of the other instruments I play. I've only had lessons on piano and flute. I like learning. It's challenging, fun and you can always take another hill.
