Introduction: I'm one of the few professional voice instructors who understands a wide range of styles and not only effectively teaches but can demonstrate as well. I sing not only classical repertoire but a wide variety of cross-over music... including pop,rock,blues,country,bluegrass, and jazz. A vocal coach must be able to demonstrate with the vocals as well as instruct! I utilize "Belt" technique as well as "Legit" vocal methods. One on one interaction with my singers! Being exposed to such a wide array of individuals helps fuel my creative flow and in turn, enables me to share my passion with those who are willing and hungry to learn.

Beverley has been my coach for a year and a half. I have learned so much and have grown as a performer with her help. I feel very comfortable having lessons with her. She really knows her profession, understands vocal techniques and is a talented performer herself. She's also very kind and I consider her a friend.

You've been loyal supporters of my studio and always such attentive ears to all my ideas and dreams. Claire has gained tremendous strides in her vocal studies! She's finding a more consistent response with the breath support and her vocal resonance is becoming more prominent esp. with the belt placement. So excited for Claire! This 15 year old is definitely gonna make an indelible mark on the world and I'm certain her singing will be a big part of it! I always appreciate her focused attention and her willingness to work my methods to see if they bring good results. Her voice is really beginning to open up. She no longer will need to listen to those repetitive comments from others that she "sounds just like Taylor Swift"... she is beginning to "sound just like Claire"!! And that's quite beautiful!

I have really enjoyed working with Beverley. Ive studied a range of vocal styles with her, from classical to crossover to pop and country. Her versatility as an instructor is impressive, as is her ability to use creative methods such as imagery and focus on breath to improve my singing. In a short amount of time Ive made leaps and bounds in my singing thanks to Beverleys help. In addition, she is just wonderful to work with and immediately helps you feel at ease. Id recommend Beverley to anyone.

Bev has been my voice coach for almost 3 years. I am an actor, voice-over actor, and singer, and the work Bev has done has helped me with training my voice and its range. Bev has helped me to "find who I am as a singer", and that includes styles of music that I resonate with. Her level of patience is great and she is very professional. The sessions are 1 hour long, and a lot gets done in that hour. Bev is very specific and technical, without being overly technical. My voice has markedly improved since working with Beverly. Hopefully, the studio will expand into something larger in the near future.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Destined to be in music - family members immersed in playing various instruments and singing since a child. Seemed to be the best outlet for me to express myself and feel safe. I identify everything with music... it's in my blood and soul.
