With over 20 years of experience teaching music and a dynamic career spanning live performance, event production, and gear management, Rachel Hansbro brings a rare blend of professionalism, passion, and people skills to every stage and classroom she enters.
Rachel began her career by inspiring students of all ages in guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, and vocals—developing personalized teaching methods that make learning music accessible, engaging, and fun. Her long-standing private lesson practice has helped hundreds of students grow their skills, confidence, and creativity.
Her deep knowledge of live music and production stems from nearly a decade managing multiple Guitar Center locations, where she built a reputation for exceptional customer service, staff leadership, and technical expertise. She went on to become the production manager at the legendary Fitzgerald’s music venue in Houston, where she coordinated countless shows and performances with professionalism and care. Rachel also worked on the high-level production teams for Houston’s innovative Day for Night Festival—further refining her ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Rachel is also a passionate community supporter. She maintains and repairs equipment for Girls Rock Camp Houston, ensuring young musicians have the tools and support they need to thrive.
