First, the most important aspect, the food. Our dinner was a 4-course meal Spanish-inspired meal. The food was absolutely amazing. Each person in our party of 9 were complimenting each plate and excited for the next. Outside the food, Ryan also went above and beyond. He gave us background on each of the dishes. He was polite and personably, making the whole process extremely pleasant. He offered a wide variety of dishes to choose from initially, and was very responsive on the app and through text. The pricing was also extremely fair for a personal chef. I would highly recommend Chef Ryan, and if possibly, to contact him personally at https://www.instagram.com/chefryan_cd/

Cut Different was the best personal chef to work with. He was responsive, the food was AMAZING, the quality was unbelievable, he made the night absolutely perfect. We will definitely be using him again! It was an awesome experience

My best friend was turning 50 and my boyfriend and I wanted to give him a unique (food experience) gift. We immediately thought of a personal chef and during our search, stumbled upon Chef Ryan. From our first interactions of discussing courses, menu options, and solidifying dates, From the start, Ryan was beyond professional and accommodating. When he arrived at our home for our event, he was very personable and eager to get started. He went right to work and the smells permeating through our home from our kitchen were magical. While cooking, we had been greeted with a signature cocktail which was a strawberry vanilla margarita - absolutely refreshing and delicious. We then began our culinary experience with a cocktail hour featuring meatball sliders, tuna crudo, and bruschetta. Ryan took the time to give a quick overview of each the prepared goodies and soon after, engulfed our faces with the meticulously (and delicious) prepared food. We then went onto our second course, traditional cacio e pepe which was light and flavorful. Our final course included both filet and braised short rib. The presentation that we were given was something you would see in a 5-star restaurant. The passion, and effort, and attention to detail was stellar. His assistant, Julia was such a pleasure and such a helping hand to Ryan and worked perfectly in the kitchen. The icing on the cake was that both Ryan and Julia had cleaned our kitchen (cleaner than when they first walked in), put pots and pans away and even cleaned our stove top. I was completely blown away from this experience and needless to say, Ryan will be referred to all of our friends and family as this is an experience they should all have and so should you.

Look no further for your personal/event Chef! My experience with Cut-Different was amazing. He was able do deliver a truly high quality meal experience to about 12 of my guests. All while maintaining a really fun, yet professional, fine dining atmosphere. I will absolutely be hiring this chef again when the occasion arises. Thanks again for your amazing work!!

We hired Chef Ryan for my friend’s bachelorette in the Hamptons and he was absolutely amazing! He was professional, easy to work with, and brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the night. Without me even asking, he made vegetarian versions of all the non-vegetarian dishes so I could enjoy the full menu (along with the existing vegetarian dishes), which was an incredibly thoughtful touch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We all agreed it was the best meal we had the entire weekend! He also took care of everything from start to finish and left the kitchen spotless. I’d recommend Chef Ryan to anyone looking for a great private chef experience! Would give him 10/5 if Thumbtack would allow me to!
