- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I strongly believe in continuing education in every thing anyone chooses to do. Personally I spend 3 hours a day practicing and learning new things. Lately I have been learning to play guitar, so I spend an hour practicing Guitar, an hour working on new and unique ways to mix music, and an hour working on my own written work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, my father was a DJ for a boat named the Floating Hospital in New York, NY, which traveled the five boroughs providing medical support for the homeless and less fortunate. Having been brought up around the live music and entertainment environment, I became attached to the energy and everything involved with it so I started watching and learning how to juggle vinyls and host events. I decided to try my own event when I was about 12 or 13 and the rest as they say is history.
