We have used Thumbtack for a variety of tasks over the past few years with mixed results. Hiring Pushing Paint to paint our home has been the best experience we have had. Persio and PJ not only addressed all of the specifications outlined in the contract, they looked for ways to enhance the final outcome by suggesting and completing things we didn't initially consider. We forgot to include a shed to be painted in our request for a quote, but they did it without increasing the cost. They were approachable throughout the project to exchange thoughts about how to ensure the best possible outcome. I have already recommended them to our Realtor, plan on including them for work needed by my best friend, and for projects we may have in our next home. My wife & I are so pleased that we hired them.
