From start to finish, Victor Ortega was one of my top 3 interior house painters ever. He did 3 rooms in 2 days...I say 3 instead of 2 b/c of my large walk in closet. He filled wall cracks and peeling ceilings. He took ultimate care throughout working around furniture piled up in the middle of rooms. He's a very hard worker and very neat and thorough. He truly goes beyond and above to achieve perfection. Victor and Sunshine Maintenance truly deliver!

I asked this company to refinish some hardwood floors that were in bad shape. Some of the rooms had carpets as well. They originally charged $1600 to sand, refinish, and remove the carpets. It was around 500sq ft total. They go there to start the work, realize it’s more than they thought after removing the carpets (understandable) so they said to finish, add poly and varnish, come another day, it will be $500 more. I was like okay. Once I go there to check the work, I realized they had no idea what they were doing. The floors were still in bad shape, they left the polish paint on the walls, hand prints on the walls, paint markings on the floor they said they would remove, and some places not even finished. They were basically trying to complete the whole job in a day, make the $1600 and leave and not have to come there again so they can go to the next job. Because they found more work, they charged more, but I can understand that. However, they have no idea how to do the floors, and they rush the job instead of taking their time. If they could not do the floors like they mentioned, they should not have taken this job. Now I have to go back and redo them the right way after tenants leave. It ended up costing me total of $2100 because I paid them $500 for the new work they found, and $100 to come back and finish the transition piece they didn’t do. I felt like they were scamming me, but I would have lost more money getting another company in there to fix their work, and because of the holding costs of the unit being empty.
