I have been training with Lou for about a year now and I highly recommend him as a trainer who is professional and cares about the progress of his clients. I started out as an occasional gym-goer who did not have any knowledge of workout technique, but now I feel so much more comfortable with fitness regimens. Lou is professional, on time, organized, and keeps the workout fun and engaging. Lou can also train couples and friends - I have enjoyed training with my boyfriend over the past few months and Lou coordinates the appropriate weights and workouts for us. Besides making fitness fun, he's also an expert when it comes to nutrition. He can recommend healthy recipes and changes in diet whenever needed. This is my second time around working with Tammy. It was about 3-4 years ago she got me in the best shape and health of my life! Battling with Rheumatoid Arthritis and on numerous medications. Somehow we powered through it all and came out on the other side stronger, healthier, 35 pounds lighter, and best off, NO MEDICATIONS or PAIN since!!!!!!!!!! As life has it, I started to slip with my routine (but still pain/medication free) so we have signed on again. This time is with my husband. He has been battling many health issues and also has an herniated disc. Tammy has been absolutely amazing in guiding him to better health and strength all the while with me working along side too. Training together has been a great, new and even fun experience for us. They always say it's best to have a work out buddy and to have that buddy be my hubby is even better! Tammy has made all the work, pain, training, and workouts somehow awesome! Her personality somehow just shines through no matter what and although some things can be difficult to push through she makes them somehow seem easier. I am forever grateful for her guidance, nurturing, education, expertise but mostly her sense of humor and friendship! I just feel there is no better way to go if you are truly serious about your health and getting fit. She is there for you ONLY as she builds what is best and safest for you and guides you step by step to getting healthier and fit THE PROPER WAY! For us, it's even sweeter as we train together at home with Tammy and the only equipment we use is our free weights, (our own body resistance) and the treadmill! :) Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Tammy for giving us "early" fifty year olds another lease in life in getting fit and healthy. The education, proper guidance and physical fitness you gain is priceless!!!

Ross is really wonderful! In just a few training sessions so far, I have learned a great deal and Ross is knowledgeable, accommodating, motivating, and kind. I went in unknowing of what to expect and he explained everything to me in full detail. Explained what to expect, did all sorts of measurements and asked the right questions in order to better help him understand how to help me attain my goal of fitness and health that I was aiming for. He had me train my first day on his equipment to see what I could do and where I could improve. He provided lots of encouragement in the process. He even goes as far with you as to set up a diet plan that will work for you. This guy is great, enthusiastic! He obviously loves what he's doing and really just seems to want to help you be the best version of yourself. He will work with you on so many levels. Totally recommend this guy!
I worked with Ryan for two months, during which time he helped me transform from 'skinny fat' to fit! I'm now 32, and I have not felt this good in a bathing suit since high school. Through coaching me on healthy eating and a combination of weight training and cardio, Ryan finally helped me gain strength and lose the bulk or my back and stomach fat (other areas too, but those were my biggest problem areas), which had been slowing increasing for years. I also benefitted immensely from Ryan's PT background in ways I didn't even anticipate. Working with someone who truly understands the body's mechanisms made a tremendous difference for me, as Ryan was able to help me safely work around an injury I sustained unrelated to training, and get me back to 100%. I would definitely still be contending with this injury were it not for Ryan's guidance and expertise. I started with Ryan admittedly just wanting to look better, and came away not only having accomplished that, but feeling a million times better as well. Most importantly, Ryan is committed to my success not only while training with him, but for the long term. My only regret is not doing this sooner. It's an investment, but one that will pay big dividends provided you're committed to putting in the work. This has really changed my life. Thanks for everything, Ryan!!
I took a restorative yoga and essential oils workshop with Natasha recently. The yoga class was exactly what I needed to open up in a general way. Natasha not only provided clear guidance on what to do during the session, she gave interesting perspectives to focus the mind on and suggestions to bring a prop heavy practice into the home. The essential oils segment of the workshop was very informative and hands on. I felt very engaged with Natasha as well as the other participants. Again, Natasha made it easy to incorporate the topics covered back home into our personal practice by providing handouts and simple suggestions. The value of the workshop far surpassed the cost and I absolutely would suggest working with Natasha in any capacity she offers.
Jim knows this profession. He coaches his daughter's lacrosse, HS football and plays sports including softball & golf. He's worked to ready me for ski season and now softball & golf. He keeps me focused & is easy to engage.
Dennis is by far the most supportive and motivating coach out there! Not only does he push me past my limits, but he constantly reminds his clients how awesome they are and how much success they are achieving. I have really enjoyed working out with Dennis for the past 6 years and this had created my love for the gym and has inspired me to get my personal training certification. Dennis is the best of the best and I don't think I could train with anyone else. I have recommended him to anyone who asks me about training and will continue to do so!
Change Your Body Fitness is the place to be if you are interested in a "no nonsense" approach to total fitness. Anthony is the real deal, incorporating nutritional health into physical training. We are what we eat, and the results of following Anthony's nutrition plan is amazing. My husband, following this plan lost 30+ pounds, had more energy, and fewer "aches and pains". Having "worked out" my entire life, I have learned more from Anthony, than I learned in the previous 30 years. His focus on safety and the proper use of equipment is invaluable. I discovered Hub Healthy Boston through social media and decided to reach out because I was really struggling with acid reflux and serious stomach discomfort. I knew it had to do with my diet and what I was eating, but I needed some serious help getting my diet under control and understanding what foods were bothering me and what I could and couldn't eat. I met with Tava for an hour consultation and she couldn't have been nicer. Went through my whole health history, and she talked me through acid reflux and what foods instigate it. She helped me figure out what foods to eliminate and how to eat properly to fix what was bothering me. She had me write down a food diary and be strict with my diet for two weeks until we had another meeting and in those two weeks my stomach went back to feeling normal after three months of discomfort. It was encouraging for me to think back on my conversation with Tava when making food choices and planning my meals. On my follow-up appointment with Tava she brought me SO many great recipe ideas to fit within my vegetarian diet eliminating the foods that were bothering me. Having someone there to encourage you to stay on track and hold you accountable for the foods you are eating is so helpful. Tava could not have been more kind or understanding and is extremely easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Hub Healthy to anyone looking to get their diet under control for any reason. As a transitioning vegan, I had a hard time finding a coach that would respect my lifestyle choice of going vegan. John has been training me for 6 months now and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I always thought I was up to date on proper fitness techniques, but my motivation has been lacking. Additionally, I have a few old injuries that haunt me. John has motivated me to get back into shape and he has opened my eyes to correct technique and form when exercising, preventing further injury. John works around my existing injuries to build muscle where vulnerable and I'm already stronger and in less pain.
