Jill was exceptional working with Isaac who is a mischievous 5 month old cattle dog. Jill provided the tools we needed in less than an hour to begin to be effective and consistent trainers for Isaac. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a dog trainer. Jill came to our home which was also super convenient. In the two days since Jill’s visit we have already made great progress with Isaac! Thanks Jill!
Heather has been with us for about 4 years and has helped with all 4 of our dogs. She has certified 2 Akc canine good citizens, has been there for the loss of one, came and helped walk my boys while my husband had surgery and is just an all around amazing trainer. She has corrected many issues we've had with them, walking on leashes, jumping, barking etc, and not only has trained the dogs but trained us to keeping them balanced and polite. I recommend her to everyone I know who has a dog
Robin is a wonderful trainer. She has a genuine love for pets and her energy around them really translates to results. Our two-year-old greyhound new addition needed to be housebroken and was terrified of stairs. Robin estimated that we'd be able to take care of all of that and more in 4-5 training sessions, but we got it done in 3. She was able to help us potty train and get our pup up the stairs in no time at all, all the while giving us tips to help with other things like separation anxiety, recall, and crate training. She also put in the effort to really spend time with our dog the one time we hired Robin for a mid-day walk. She was a pleasure to work with.
Chad really knows how to train a dog. My Macy came very insecure and not knowing anything and he has changed her amazingly. We still have a few things to work on but he has given me the start and the tools to keep up her training. Chad is very personable and he has a great love for dogs. He continues and follows through with updates and visits even after our session was over. Great trainer!

We love Bark Avenue! Robin is so caring and sweet and our 2 pups love staying there! They get excited when we pull into the driveway! Facilities are comfortable and clean with many options for any dog...I would definitely recommend!
We met Melinda as our second training class trainer. We had been through puppy training class and were looking for a more advanced class for our second class. Melinda scheduled a meet and greet with my dog and I. She wanted to get to know us, review what we had learned, where we were struggling and what our goal for this training class should be. When we began our training class, I was frustrated with my 1 year old puppy and his listening skills. He seemed to have stopped listening to his basic commands and I didn't understand how to get him to listen again. She structured our training class to meet our needs. We met for 6 weeks. Each week she would teach me a skill to teach and work with my dog. She taught me how to read and work with my dog's personality. When one technique wasn't working, she taught me how to use a different technique. By the end of the six weeks, I was able to recognize when my dog was stressed and when he was ready to learn. For the end of the class, she asked me to teach my dog a new trick. I wasn't sure what to teach him, so she suggested simple trick with a twist. I had a lot of fun teaching him this trick and he learned it in about a day or two, so I found and began teaching him a more difficult trick. Melinda guided me while I was teaching him these new tricks. It was very rewarding for both my dog and myself! I would encourage anybody to hire Melinda as their trainer. She not only works with your dog, but she's training you as well. She was able to teach me how to have a better, less frustrating, loving relationship with my dog. After training with Melinda, the training goals that I thought were unreachable became very attainable! Helping you to train your dog is not only Melinda's career, but it's also her passion.
I travel often for my job and have to leave my pets with others. It was fantastic to have Charlie out to the home this last month during my travels. I came home to find my four legged kids well cared for and a home that was as well. There were no accidents that I could find (or smell) and there was a new toy that was added to the mix. The furry kiddos love that toy! Charlie was attentive to my pets, home and my directions. Charlie earned my trust and I will be hiring him to care for my dogs for my next trip.
Have to say I am very happy with the care that K-9 Trail Blazers Dog Walking Service has given to both of my doggies. Memphis and Sierra are happy and tired after they go out for their walk. Salix takes them to the local dog park and they love it. I could not be happier and I know my kiddo are happy too. Thanks Salix at K-9 Trail Blazers.
We all go to a trainer for a reason we have a problem with our dog. Marissa was able to recognize Rocco's problem immediately. She changed his collar and within 40 minutes there was a big change in him. I have Marissa's brochures and business cards in my place of business because I would highly recommend her. Jode Gammon

Hello. My name is Carolyn, and I am a second year medical student at MUSC. I love animals, and I want to adopt a dog, but unfortunately, my current living situation won't allow it. Instead, I'd like to love your dog, take him/her on walks or jogs or dog sit if needed. I mostly study from home, and I have a flexible schedule. I am available on most mornings, afternoons and on the weekends. Studying everyday often gets lonely, and I'd love to take a break and spend some time with your dog. I could use the extra money for my student loans, and I am willing to negotiate a price. Please send me an email if you are interested or have any other questions. Thank you!
