Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My videos stand out because I adhere to the film and television truism of "...The best shooting and editing goes unnoticed...", which is to say we want people to watch the video fully, to the very end, and receive it's messages, without noticing things like "...that shot should have been on a tripod!...", or "...the music is too loud...", or "...did you see that!?! you can see the photographer in the mirror over that lady's shoulder!...". My videos also have a high shot count. I nuance that video with transition shots, tight shots, telephoto, wide, high, and low angle shot, and just the right combination of shoulder shots to tripod shots. My videos are also peppered with generous use of natural sound. For example if we're doing a story in your kitchen, you're going to be able to hear the bacon and eggs frying in the pan. At your social gathering guitars, voices, laughing and clapping will be heard. When your daughter spikes that volleyball into her opponents face, you're going hear that "pop!" of her hand on the ball and the corresponding "smack" of it's impact. Finally, with every frame of dead air removed from the final video, the only exception being a necessary technique used to let the video "breathe", my videos enjoy a seamlessness that ensures watchability from the first frame to the last. I simply allow nothing to distract from the video itself: The best shooting and editing goes unnoticed. Count on it. I've just got to say that I love all of it. I love lighting. I love wireless microphones. I love little secret cameras. I love my big cameras with big telephoto lenses. I love writing. I love editing. I love the entire process. Perhaps what I like most of all seeing tears of joy streaming down my clients faces when they see their mastered video (yes that happens occasionally).

Robert, worked countless hours filming and editing our videos and delivered us a final product that fulfilled our expectations. He wasn't satisfied until we were. I would highly recommend Robert O'Brien, for any filming job. He truly is a professional at what he does!!! His work ethic and attention to detail of the customer is second to none. I will use Robert O'Brien again for any of our next projects. We were blessed to work with such a charismatic individual!!!

Robert is professional, creative, and sharp. Not only was he totally in charge of gathering what he needed while at the shoot, the product was incredible. He caught all the right moments and added artistic flair. I highly recommend him.

Robert did a short video for my music business. His healthy experience in one of the most competitive media markets in the world was immediately apparent. He worked quickly but was not careful not to be intrusive with the camera. However, it was his editing that really blew me away. What I hadn't realized while I was playing is that he had skillfully gotten all of the shots he needed to weave together an artful montage. He turned around an incredibly impressive product in the short space of a weekend, leading me to conclude, without question, that Robert is a real pro. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Robert again for another project of this sort.

Mr. O'Brien's commercial for Birds I View Gallery in downtown Charleston SC captured not only the artist and her paintings but also the charm of the galleries location in the historic French Quarter of Charleston. A professional quality job by an experienced videographer and producer.
