JC Construction was punctual on arrivals for free estimate as well as the install. The price quoted was reasonable. Once hired, Joy kept me in the loop with tracking down the specific French door type my wife and I wanted. The work of removing the sliding glass door and installing the French doors was completed timely and we are very happy with our new doors. They look great! Hiring Joy for a job was a mistake. I moved forward with her because of her reviews, which I believe do not accurately reflect her work on any level. She is a helper at best and not a professional. I hired her to install 2 exterior doors, and she did more damage to my property than proper installation. She broke 3 of the threshold bricks in the process of taking out and installing the door, and replaced it with mismatched bricks and wrong mortar. Her finishes were awful. I would not recommend her.

The technician was extremely kind, patient, and professional, which meant a lot to us given her age and the situation. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure she felt comfortable, and went above and beyond to ensure the door was fixed properly and safely. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he was also genuinely helpful—double-checking his work, making sure the door opened and closed smoothly, and even offering tips to prevent future issues. You could tell he truly cares about his customers. It’s rare these days to find someone who provides quality work and outstanding customer service, but he exceeded all expectations. We are extremely grateful and will definitely use him again for any future repairs. Highly recommended!

I contacted Daniel on thumbtack and immediately got a reply. He called me and we discussed what I wanted done. I needed a barn door installed inside my home after I attempted to do so, I made quite the mess, but Daniel came to the rescue. He installed the barn door and I couldn’t be more happy. He was very pleasant to work with. He was on time and did excellent work without making a mess or damaging anything. I will definitely call Daniel again in the future for any jobs I need assistance with! 10/10 for sure!

*****CON MAN STAY AWAY**** 1) lied about the type of work he can do 2) show up late or not at all 3) he leaves to go get stuff takes hours to come back 4) he took both of my patio doors off kitchen and master bedroom put up a piece of plastic when he knew a storm was coming the storm smatch that Lil plastic and toss it he didn't think enough of me or my daughters to put up ply wood ( he took my money over 3k to take out exterior and interior doors and put up new ones. He measured wrong I was in a worst state after working with him.
