I rarely write reviews that can be publicly posted but, in this case, I'd like to describe the wonderful work performed by Ari Residential Services (ARS) when helping us renovate an historic house in Columbia, S.C. Tia and her team at ARS stepped into a difficult situation where another contractor had left things in a terrible mess. Tia and ARS bought order into a complicated situation. Their work was done with professionalism and stellar craftsmanship.As the homeowners, my wife and I were regularly kept informed of developments and ARS made helpful and timely suggestions. Each of the ARS team was very pleasant (and fun) to work with and each of them took pride in their work.My wife and I have dealt with many different contractors over the years with different homes in different locations. Tia and her ARS team are, by far, the very best with whom we've encountered. Our hopes and expectations were exceeded and we feel lucky to have found them!

Our garage was hopeless. Cement block and tin roof with a concrete floor and metal support poles down the middle and wide slap open to the elements. Tia and her team transferred our junk storage to a beautiful exterior family room on time and on budget. The French doors and siding to enclose the front, a solid coat of exterior paint, ceiling + lighting + sheet rock and insulation, staining the concrete floor + sealing off a secure storage area in the rear for lawn gear.... this project met our family needs for storage and a beautiful canvas for extra play and relaxing space. Working with someone who listens to your goals and ideas, helps you make choices, and never asks "can I speak to your husband to make a decision" when I was clearly the lead on this project was an absolute delight. We have many more projects on deck and I can't imagine working with anyone else.

I have done many renovations on houses over the years, and Tia is the best contractor I've ever worked with. The addition of a new space and remodel of parts of my 1940's house combined was a challenging process, sometimes requiring adjustments to the original plan. Tia was a good listener and responsive to feedback and requests. The subs that she hired were talented and reasonably priced, and it was clear that Tina maintains positive and cooperative relationships with all of them. I would definitely hire Tia again--but I'm hoping this is my last house and last renovation! :-) I have already recommended her to several of my friends who are planning upgrades to their existing homes.
