Voice Lessons by Jessi

Introduction: I am a believer in Christ, and like my voice teacher when I was young, I prefer to start in a lesson with a scripture reading and prayer. I cover breathing, phonation, respiration, and articulation in those orders. We would study singing through other languages and work on the phonetic pronunciation of texts as well and the translation for proof romance purposes. Teaching singing is not simply about becoming better at singing; it's about having the confidence to show it off too. That is something I encourage each of my students to do -- use their talents, and then we talk about it, critic those moments and make them feel great!
